Golf Range Netting Supports LECOM Park Expansion
Building a 50-foot sports netting system starts long before the first section of netting is raised.
Laying the Groundwork for the Future of Baseball
The LECOM Park sports netting installation in Bradenton, Florida, demonstrates the extensive groundwork required to build a professional 50-foot athletic netting system. Golf Range Netting is proud to support this expansion project near the longtime Spring Training home of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Real Construction in Real Conditions
The project video provides a ground-level view of the work taking place across the large, muddy construction site. Heavy equipment is positioned throughout the area as crews prepare the site for the installation of the massive steel support poles.
Wet conditions do not eliminate the need for precision. Every stage must be carefully coordinated to ensure the foundations, poles, hardware, and netting system come together correctly.
This is the hard work behind a turnkey sports netting installation.
Specialized Equipment for Massive Steel Poles
Near the midpoint of the video, the camera focuses on Golf Range Netting’s digger derrick truck. This specialized piece of equipment is used to excavate the large, deep holes required for the galvanized steel poles that will support the 50-foot netting system.
The pole foundations are a critical part of the installation. Proper placement, excavation, alignment, and site preparation help create the structural foundation for a durable, high-performance sports netting system.
Golf Range Netting maintains the specialized equipment and field experience necessary to complete demanding sports infrastructure projects from the ground up.
More Than Poles and Netting
A turnkey installation involves much more than delivering poles and attaching netting. It requires equipment mobilization, excavation, site access planning, material deliveries, foundation preparation, pole installation, hardware assembly, and final netting deployment.
During the final portion of the video, a large dump truck unloads material at the site. The scene demonstrates the scale of the preparation required before the visible netting system can be completed.
A lot of hard, wet work goes into building a professional turnkey sports netting installation.
