Mark’s background in the powerline industry gave him the experience needed to form Golf Range Netting. He attended a 5-year lineman school with a focus on High Voltage and Engineering. He has worked with several power companies in Canada and the U.S. He has supervised and trained over 300 lineman apprentices in a high voltage setting. After creating a successful cabling company (Fiber-Tech) which was contracted with Rogers Cable and the Hydro Electric Company in Canada, Mark invented golf course netting and lighting design in 1994. He built the netting structures at over 20 of the Jack Nicklaus – Golden Bear facilities, created the netting design used at Top Golf facilities and has to date built over 1,000 facilities including golf, baseball, soccer, drone enclosures and landfills.
Karianne graduated from FMU in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and a Minor in Accounting. She has been with Golf Range Netting over 19 years. She handles the back end information of GRN in regards to accounting, bonding, federal, state and local taxes and Human Resources.
Shawn has been with GRN for over 20 years. He is the Superintendent responsible for maintaining safety and installation standards onsite at each project. His background is in aerial and underground utility construction. He is OSHA 30 certified and is a skilled operator of aerial & heavy equipment of all types. He is an expert in pole and steel tower foundations and erection and has installed thousands of pole/tower netting structures across the U.S. and abroad.
Michelle graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in English as well as Telecommunications. She has been working in customer service for almost 20 years, the construction industry for the past 7 years and with Golf Range Netting since 2016. Michelle handles the day to day operations at GRN and manages all of our netting projects from start to finish.
