Enclosed Netting Structures for Unmanned Aircraft or “Drone Netting Enclosures” are becoming very popular with the rise of drones being used in professional settings. Power companies across the country are using drones and other unmanned aircraft to check power lines and structures. These companies use our custom designed Netting Systems to train pilots in the use of their drones, without having to worry about the safety of property or people outside of the training enclosure.
We designed this Drone Enclosure for the Department of Energy/UT Battelle in Oak Ridge Tennessee, at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. This structure specifications are 50′ high x 70′ wide x 200′ length – not our biggest enclosure system, but this design was just right for their needs.
