Furthermore, the ceremony took place on October 14, 2025. As a result, this marks a major milestone in the renovation of this historic community sports facility.

Project Overview

Moreover, this project is part of the City of Miami Beach’s master plan. Specifically, it includes upgrades to athletic fields, irrigation systems, and accessibility features. Consequently, these improvements are funded by the General Obligation Bond program.

Netting System Features

Golf Range Netting’s new barrier system features durable, knitted polyester mesh with square patterns. Thus, this design improves visibility and protection. Moreover, it is engineered to meet high wind codes and safety standards.

This includes past projects at Flamingo Park and other Miami Beach facilities. We’re committed to delivering maintenance-free, high-performance barrier netting that elevates community sports spaces while prioritizing safety and durability.”

Golf Range Netting has a strong history in Miami Beach. For instance, previous installations include wood poles and baseball netting at Flamingo Park. Additionally, the company installed golf course netting at Miami Beach Golf Club.

Furthermore, the current project uses power-line grade materials and engineered designs. As a result, these choices help minimize disruptions during park improvements.

Moreover, Operations Manager Shawn Szuba and his crew are overseeing the work. Therefore, they are coordinating with other park upgrades to ensure smooth progress.

In summary, this initiative highlights Golf Range Netting’s commitment to protecting athletes and property. Consequently, their innovative netting systems serve baseball fields, golf courses, and other sports venues.
