Materials:
- Polyester netting, jet dyed black will not fade over time
- Premium resilient UV coating
- Carrabina Snaps attached the netting to the cabling made of galvanized steel. Others use zinc plated snaps that can rust and cause net tearing.
- New “Extra High Strength” steel poles (60 KSI and above on all poles)
- Brand new, top quality wood poles. Competitors often use ‘new or used’ poles that may be 10-15 years old.
- Double and Triple Helix anchors rather than single anchors used by some other companies. Single helix anchors are not meant to hold up a large structure such as netting.
Installation:
- Our in-house crews are certified powerline men. We do not outsource!
- We have crews in the US and Canada that go where the project is.
- We have a “hands-on” approach to every panel and net that we manufacture.
- We “clove hitch” nets to support rope every 6 inches and twine the rope to the net every inch. This firmly secures the net to avoid chaffing and tearing. Competitors just weave the rope through the net which causes chaffing and tearing.
- Pole cables are screwed into the ground using double helix anchors and a torque meter to assure optimal stability. Competitors often just screw in single helix anchors without a torque meter.
