Our President and Owner – Mark Ramsay
Mark Ramsay, the president and owner of “Golf Range Netting” has more than 30 years of experience critical to the installation, engineering, and design of superior sports netting applications.
Born in Canada, he began his apprenticeship at Ontario Hydro Canada and in 1986 was certified as a lineman and engineer. He became a supervisor for Toronto Hydro’s apprenticeship program and trained over 300 apprentices.
Mark has installed high voltage transmission lines and support poles throughout North America. In 1986 he joined Florida Power as a foreman and has supervised many crews including those working to repair damage after hurricanes Hugo and Andrew.
In 1996 Mark founded “Golf Range Netting” with the goal of applying his experience and the same quality engineering, installation processes, and materials used in the high voltage power line industry to golf and sports barrier netting applications.
Our Crew
All crew members at “Golf Range Netting” are “in-house” employees that are certified power transmission lineman. This is to ensure that all of our sports netting installations are safe and extremely durable. Our crews are certified to install support poles from 25 to 150 feet and they have more than 63 years of combined experience.

Our Materials
Golf Range netting uses the highest quality materials in the netting industry to ensure trouble free and highly durable netting installations that can stand up to the most extreme environmental conditions.
We use only galvanized hardware certified by all power companies in the United States.
GRN fabricates, designs, and calculates the wind loads for our netting to meet all applicable wind related building codes. We exclusively use polyester netting with 100% UV stabilizers that are jet dyed all the way through so there is no fading.
We offer a variety of support pole materials appropriate to each particular netting application and height requirement including “all new” wooden poles (many of our competitors offer “new or used” poles) as well as steel, concrete, and fiberglass.
